Abstract

Public transport is being part of human prime need, and also a community transport system, but if we don?t manage it well, it makes problem for the supplier and public transport assessors. This research is to get to know the rate based on the VOC (Vehicle Operational Cost), the Ability To Pay (ATP), and Willingness To Pay (WTP) for the service of public transport in the town of Soe. The observed tract for this public transport is in the Haumeny Terminal to Pasar Inpress Kota Soe, and the New Terminal to Pasar Inpress Kota Soe. The VOC analysis will adapting two kinds of methods, those are from the public work department raisd in year 2005 (Pd.T-15-2005-B) and the method from Directorate General for land transportation number SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002. And for the analysis of ATP and WTP are using the cross tabulation method and travel budget. Trough this research, is known that the real rate is bigger than the counting rate outcome. The real rate is Rp. 3000,00 while the counting rate based on the VOC from the directorate general for land transport is Rp.2205,27 and Rp.1962,14, and for the public work department is Rp. 2621,89 and Rp. 2059,73. The rate for ATP is Rp.2.752,05 and the rate for WTP is Rp. 1.995,50.

Abstract

Soil is one of the most important things in every civil engineering construction. But the problem is how to define physical and mechanic characteristic of the soil. Physical and mechanic characteristic that have influence on bearing capacity of the soil is water content. Size of soil also has effects on the changing of water content. To define water content, engineer is often using Gravimetry Method, but this method can only be doing in laboratory, so it can’t specifically describe real condition of water content in the fields. Then, an in-site test such as Electrical Sensory Method is needed, in order To get correct result of water content in fields. In Electrical Sensory Method there is one method called Gypsum Block Method, this method is an in-situ water content test with individual calibration on laboratory.The results from Oebelo Village, Kupang District soils sample, the soils is CH soil, where CH is organic clay with high plasticity, Fat Clay. By using gypsum block method, water content results is in range of 19,35 % - 41,05 %, while with gravimetry method the water content is in range of 18,34 % - 34, 67 %. Water content test using gypsum block method can only be doing at 0,50 m dan 1,00 m depth range, at 1,50 m dan 2,00 m depth range cannot be using this method because is too difficult to install gypsum block and the gap results between gravimetry method and gypsum block method is in range of 4,19 % - 7,69 %.

Abstract

The issue of global warming and climate change is an environmental issue that the world's problems. Countermeasures are now established is sustainable development. One factor supporting sustainable development is an alternative device in the areas of procurement, that is green procurement. Determining the winner of the procurement system is noticed additional aspects, namely social, economic and environmental which in practice is still not determined the weight of each of the environmentally friendly aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the weighting of the criteria for selecting a winner in the green procurement system and determine the relationship between environmental criteria. Data analysis technique using Analytical Network Process, in order to obtain a priority basis and weighting of each criterion so that it can be described the relationship between the criteria. The results of the study in the opinion of all respondents consisting of qualified contractors large and medium enterprises as well as the Procurement Services Unit predominant aspects in the procurement of environmentally friendly is a social aspect to the criteria that affect the human resources with the weight percentage is 10.40%. In these criteria there are sub-criteria that support namely the availability of experts and skilled workers, the availability of experts and skilled workers by level of education and experience as well as working procedures with the weight percentage of each sub-criteria 33,33%.

Abstract

The power of Cellular Lightweight Concrete is influenced by the size of its pores. If the Lightweight Concrete’s pore is larger, then the compressive strength is smaller and the uptake of water produced is greater. This is caused by the using of the outlet pipe diameter that is greater cause cavities in the foam produced even greater. That foam occupy cubes of concrete’ space and generate pores that are large on the Lightweight Concrete, causing its compressive strength are small and water’s absorption is large if it is compared to the diameter of the outlet pipe is smaller. The test results in the laboratory is the compressive strength of Cellular Lightweight Concrete in 14 days amounted to 2.148 MPa, 2.074 MPa, 1.926 MPa and 1.852 MPa on the variation of ½ inch, 1 inch, 1 ½ inch and 2 inches diameter. In 28 days, it amounted to 2,667 MPa, 2,593 MPa, 2,444 MPa, dan 2,296 MPa with same diameters. In 42 days, it amounted to 2,815 MPa, 2,667 MPa, 2, 519 MPa, dan 2,444 MPa on diameter of 0,5 inch, 1 inch, 1,5 inch, and 2 inches. In 56 days, it amounted to 2,889 MPa, 2,741 MPa, 2,593 MPa, and 2,519 MPa with same diameters. At the age of 56 days, the average value of water absorption of the CLC with outlet foam generator of diameter of 0.5 inches amounted to 13.554%. Whereas on 1-inch increase to 15.268%. The size of 1.5 inches increased to 17.163% and the size of 2 ins by 19.463%.

Abstract

Partly or totally substitution of cement with another environmentally products in making concrete become the alternative. In this research the composition of the fly ash used as a partial replacement of cement in concrete as much as 40% out of total mass of cement (High Volume Fly Ash Concrete) and then will be compared with normal concrete about the technical characteristics of the two types of concrete. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of partial replacement of cement with fly ash in concrete on technical characteristics of concrete which are specific gravity of concrete, compressive strength of concrete and concrete abrasion. The results obtained by the technical characteristics of concrete at the concrete age of 56 days for normal concrete has an average of specific gravity is 2434.39 kg/m³ with an average of compressive strength is 22.72 MPa and concrete abrasion percentage is 19.74%, for HVFA concrete has an average of specific gravity is 2407.22 kg/m³ with an average of compressive strength of 22.51 MPa and concrete abrasion percentage is 20.12%. The result of this research shows that the effect of the partial replacement of cement with fly ash in concrete produce the technical characteristics of concrete which are specific gravity of concrete, compressive strength of concrete and concrete abrasion are similliar with the technical characteristics of normal concrete.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of one-way traffic system simulated at the three-legged signalized intersection on Straat A towards the traffic flow, and the performance of parking area at Oeba, a traditional market in Kupang City. The analysis involves comparing the volume of vehicles and the performance of the parking area before and during the implementation of one-way traffic system simulation with the parking space requirements as well as the design models of parking spaces. The analysis shows that the implementation of one-way traffic system simulation affects the increase of traffic volume in one access that is at Cabang Air-Oeba, but overall it does not affect the increase of traffic volume in general. The result of the performance analysis on the market's parking area reveals to be in trouble, with the parking index value that is greater than 1 (one). Based on that index value, the addition of a parking area is needed as follows: 357 m2 for motorcycles, 637.50 m2 for light vehicles and 680 m2 for heavy vehicles. In order to overcome this problem the government has prepared a new parking area with the width 1011 m2, but this additional parking area is not yet sufficient, so that the government still needs to provide 663.50 m2 as the new additional parking area.

Abstract

Shopping center as one of land use, have a high enough intensity to attract people. The big attraction depends on many variables that influence it. Therefore this study aims to model the trip attraction and accumulation model vehicles parking on three shopping center in Kupang City are Lippo Plaza, Flobamora Mall and Hypermart Bundaran PU. Modelling done by using multiple linear regression analysis and multinomial logistic regression analysis. The result of the analysis in this study is obtained by modelling Y1 = 715,522 + 5,963 X3 + 0,056 X5, Y2 = 417,134 + 2,350 X3 + 0,020 X6, Y3 = 66,357 + 0,792 X3 + 0,023 X5and Y4 = 28,147 + 0,296 X3 + 0,006 X6, with Y1 is trip attraction two wheeled vehicles, Y2 is trip attraction four wheeled vehicles, Y3 is the accumulation of two wheeler parking, Y4 is the accumulation of four wheeler parking, the X3 is the number of tenants, X5 is a parking area for motorcycles and X6 is a four wheel vehicle parking area.Factors that influence the occurrence of trip attraction is earning the visitors a shopping center and factors elections comparison shopping center is a range of product, product quality, product availability, product pricing and parking facilities located at the shopping center.

Abstract

According to results of the test, quality code of each woods is: Timber = E14, Spinach = E14, Red Teak = E12, Candlenut wood = E10 and Cassowary = E15.The compressive strength perpendicular to the wood fibers: Timber= 23,00 MPa, Spinach = 31,00 MPa, Teak Red = 9,67 MPa, Candlenut= 8.67 MPa and cassowary= 21,67 MPa. The compressive strength parallel to the wood fibers: Timber = 70,33 MPa, Spinach = 79,33 MPa, Teak Red = 36,00 MPa, Candlenut= 26,00 MPa and cassowary = 50,00 MPa. Value bending strength of wood: Timber= 132,06 MPa, Spinach= 174,66 MPa, Teak Red= 59,64 MPa, Candlenut= 51,12 MPa and cassowary= 110,76 MPa. The percentage value of compressive strength test comparison between the wood fibers parallel investigation against SNI 7973: 2013: Timber= 164,01%, Spinach= 197.80%, Teak Red= 59.57%, Candlenut= 57.00% and Cassowary= 73,61%. Value percentage ratio of compressive strength test perpendicular to the wood fibers are examined against SNI 7973: 2013: Timber= 365.29%, Spinach= 527,12%, Teak Red= 131,54%, Candlenut= 143,64% and Cassowary= 479,20%. Percentage value comparison test between the flexural strength of the wood studied the SNI 7973: 2013: Timber= 312,64%, Spinach = 445,74%, Teak Red = 121,51%, Candlenut= 154,76% and Cassowary= 215.99%.
